HISTORY

Although Paradise Coffee was established in 2006, it took until 2012 to introduce our fresh roasted coffee beans to the Island. We moved premises, purchased our first small roaster and created a boutique roastery producing a range of fresh roasted coffees for the Cayman market and adding a new dimension to our business.

Over the next few years of perfecting the product, the coffees became increasingly popular with both residents and tourists alike. The subsequent increase in demand required us to upgrade to a larger machine in 2015.

PACKAGING

Producing our own branded coffee which is roasted and packaged on Island means we have the flexibility to customize according to the clients’ requirements.

Our coffee is available in ground or whole bean and packaged as follows: The 8oz retail bag is our most popular and is available in all the major supermarkets. We also offer a small 2oz gift bag (we call this our tourist bag), a 16oz bag and even a 5lb bag!

We produce fractional packs for commercial applications and can package for any size brewer, desired strength and of course taste preference. We can also create custom roasts (note – minimum monthly usage quantities apply).

BEANS

The green beans originate from several continents and can be roasted individually or combined to create exciting and unique blends (the fun part is naming them!) Our blended roasts have been further localized with names like ‘Good Morning Cayman’ (our breakfast coffee), the medium roasted ‘Cayman Gold’ or ‘Black Coral’ (our bold and darkest roast). All these coffees are truly Caymanian and we are proud to be included in a small list of local producers.

The Tropical Paradise brand was developed between a mixture of local farmers and exporters to get a consistent product year round.

COSTA RICAN SHB WASHED TARRAZU LA PASTORA

CoopeTarrazu partners. A collaboration of small producers in the Tarrazu area. This region lies in the Pacific basin range where the farmers are able to grow their coffee in the small valleys and mountain slopes. The high elevation, cooler temperatures and shade cover provide an ideal climate for coffee, the cultivation of which has been crucial for the socio-economic development of the region.

SWISS WATER PROCESSED COLOMBIAN DECAFFEINATED

The proprietary ‘Swiss Water’ process uses water and the naturally occurring soluble solids from green coffee – without introducing chemical solvents or their residue – to gently remove caffeine while preserving the origin flavours, taste and characteristics of the coffee. The coffee comes from a variety of small producers in the region.
